Seventy Hyal and the glass-skin glow

Seventy Hyal is a hyaluronic acid skin booster that deeply hydrates for a smooth, dewy glow. Here is how it works and what to expect.

Glass skin is a look many of my clients love. It describes skin that looks smooth, clear and dewy, almost as though light is bouncing off it. Good skincare plays a big part. For some people a skin booster such as Seventy Hyal can help take things further.

What Seventy Hyal is

Seventy Hyal is a skin booster based on hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar in the skin that attracts and holds water. When skin is well hydrated it tends to look plumper, smoother and more radiant.

As we get older our natural levels of hyaluronic acid fall. Lifestyle factors such as sun exposure, central heating and stress can also leave skin dehydrated. Seventy Hyal delivers hydration directly into the skin where creams cannot easily reach.

What it can help with

Seventy Hyal may help with:

  • Dull or tired-looking skin
  • Dehydration and tightness
  • Fine lines caused by dryness
  • Rough or uneven texture
  • A general lack of glow

It does not add volume or change the shape of your face. It is all about skin quality.

The course

A course is usually two to three sessions four weeks apart. After that, maintenance every six to twelve months helps to keep your skin looking its best. I will guide you on what suits your skin.

What treatment involves

Small amounts of product are placed just under the skin across the treatment area. Most people find it comfortable, though you may feel some stinging. The appointment is fairly short.

After treatment

Small bumps at the injection sites are normal and usually settle within a day. You may have some mild redness, swelling or bruising for a few days. Infection and allergic reactions are rare but possible.

To help your skin settle:

  • Avoid makeup for around 12 hours
  • Skip strenuous exercise for 24 hours
  • Avoid saunas and very hot environments for a couple of days
  • Drink plenty of water

Seventy Hyal is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. We will go through your medical history before treatment.

When you will see results

Many people notice their skin looks more hydrated within a couple of weeks. The glow tends to build through the course. Results vary from person to person and depend on your skin and lifestyle.

Supporting your glow at home

Skin boosters work best alongside a good routine. To get the most from your treatment I suggest:

  • A gentle cleanser that does not strip your skin
  • A hydrating serum and moisturiser
  • High-factor sun protection every day
  • Plenty of sleep where you can

Is it right for you

Seventy Hyal can be a lovely choice if your main concern is dull, dehydrated skin. If you are more worried about firmness, sun damage or scarring, another booster may suit you better. I will help you choose at your consultation.
